To me this smells like white flowers laid on cool marble — gardenia, tuberose, jasmine, all that heady white-floral intensity, but held at a respectful distance like you are observing them rather than drowning in them. The rhubarb and pepper at the start give it a green, almost tart edge, like stems snapping. There is incense and amber underneath, but so restrained it feels like dignity rather than drama. This is a white floral for people who think they do not like white florals. Easy to love, even for beginners.
