Composition
Olivier Cresp's 2002 cult oriental-gourmand, beloved for its cherry-amaretto opening. Amaretto, amber, Bulgarian rose and hibiscus sparkle on top, over a creamy heart of white pepper, vanilla, amber and white blossoms, grounded in cherry, almond, styrax, cedar and tonka bean — warm, cozy and utterly feminine.
To me this smells like cherry-amaretto liqueur poured over ice — amaretto, amber, Bulgarian rose and hibiscus sparkling sweet and boozy at the open. White pepper, vanilla and white blossoms cream the heart into something soft and cozy. Cherry, almond, styrax, cedar and tonka bean ground it in warm, nutty comfort. It is the 2002 cult classic: warm, cozy, and utterly addictive. Beginner-friendly — a gourmand hug, sweet and comforting.
