Composition
Jean Guichard's 1994 vision of a blossoming paradise — a rich, long-lasting floral EDP. Bright and fruity top notes of peach, bergamot, mandarin orange and lemon lead into a lush aquatic-floral heart of water lily, mimosa, tuberose, melon, lotus, pineapple, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and rose, resting on a warm base of patchouli, black locust, sandalwood, cedar and tonka bean.
To me this smells like peach, bergamot, mandarin and lemon ripening in a blossoming paradise — bright and juicy at the open. Then the flood: water lily, mimosa, tuberose, melon, lotus, pineapple, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and rose, a lush aquatic-floral heart that never ends. Patchouli, sandalwood, cedar and tonka ground it in warm, woody depth. It is Jean Guichard's 1994 vision of Eden: a floral paradise, rich and endless. Beginner-friendly — a big, beautiful floral that's easy to fall into.
