Composition
Burberry Baby Touch was launched in 2002, created by Michel Girard. Lemon verbena, mint, rhubarb and citrus open over a soft floral heart of cyclamen, orange blossom and lily of the valley, with milk, vanilla and moss in the base. Designed as a gentle, clean scent, it works as a fresh skin scent for all ages.
To me this is a nursery at nap time, all clean cotton and calm. Lemon verbena and mint sparkle at the top like a freshly wiped windowsill, rhubarb and orange adding a green, juicy sweetness. Then the flowers come in — cyclamen, orange blossom, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine — soft and powdery, like the smell of folded baby clothes pulled from a drawer. The milk and vanilla dry-down is what makes it special. Warm, creamy, innocent. It smells like being looked after. I can't imagine anyone disliking this — it's a lullaby in a bottle. Beginner-friendly.
