Scent story

To me this smells like a celebration inside a cloud of oud smoke — opulent, overwhelming, and utterly unapologetic. Raspberry, clove, bergamot and pink pepper open bright and spiced, like jewels scattered on dark velvet, but you can feel the oud waiting underneath, patient and enormous. Gardenia, cinnamon, jasmine and osmanthus bloom into the heart, white flowers going golden and honeyed in the heat, and then the base arrives like nightfall: oud deep and resinous, vanilla dark and rich, patchouli and labdanum smouldering underneath. It is beautiful the way a thunderstorm is beautiful — powerful, dramatic, and not remotely interested in being subtle. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
