Luban is a unisex extrait de parfum from Widian, launched in 2023 and created by Randa Hammami. It opens with Cardamom, Strawberry, Pink Pepper and Bergamot, reveals a heart of Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose Oil and Gardenia, and settles into Vanilla, White Amber, Oud, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Cedar and White Musk. Its character is defined by vanilla, warm spicy and sweet accords.
Scent story
To me this smells like a cathedral where someone has left a bowl of strawberries on the altar. Cardamom and pink pepper sparkle like incense catching light, then the roses arrive — Bulgarian rose dark and honeyed — with strawberry dripping over everything, ripe and slightly wild. Frankincense rises underneath, resinous and ancient, but the sweetness tames it. Oud, vanilla and sandalwood warm the base like candlelight on old wood. Sacred and sensual at once — a prayer with a pulse. Beginner-friendly.
