Composition
Venti (2014) takes its name from the Roman winds and pairs marine freshness with warm spice. Sea notes, peach, mandarin and cinnamon open it; orange blossom and jasmine form the heart; ambergris, myrrh, patchouli and vanilla warm the base.
Venti is a sea voyage in a bottle: salty sea air and juicy peach give way to Ceylon nutmeg, jasmine and orange blossom, before an ambergris-and-myrrh harbour of vanilla and vetiver. It is breezy yet opulent, evoking trade winds over the Mediterranean. Beginners: the marine-spicy balance is easy to love.
