Scent story

To me this smells like a Mughal garden in full bloom at dusk — ylang-ylang, mandarin and orange flashing bright first, then an avalanche of flowers: orange blossom, cherry blossom, orris, rose, violet, Indian jasmine, all of it. Tonka bean, copaiba balsam, amber, vanilla and sandalwood rise underneath like warm earth, sweet and resinous. It is opulent in the old sense of the word — abundance as art. A golden, honeyed overload, and proud of it. The petitgrain adds a green, bitter-orange freshness, like leaves crushed in your hand. Beginner-friendly.
