Composition
Tobacco Rose (2014) is the initial-trio floral: a sensual blend of Bulgarian rose, geranium and Rose de Mai against a rich, smoky base of French hay and earthy oakmoss, with soft animalic touches of ambergris and beeswax suspended in musks. Note: despite the name, there is no tobacco -- hay gives the tobacco impression.
Tobacco Rose is the Queen of flowers in chintz: jammy roses, sweet hay, earthy oakmoss and animalic musks woven into something mystical and lush. A rose that makes you stop and think. Beginners: the most approachable Papillon; a rose-lover's must-try.
