Composition
Salome (2015) is the house's best-known animalic chypre-floral: indolic jasmine and rich feral musks dance behind Turkish rose and carnation. Bitter orange and bergamot open it; hyrax (Africa Stone), jasmine, carnation, tobacco and Turkish rose form the heart; castoreum, cumin, oakmoss, hay, patchouli, styrax, birch and vanilla ground the base.
Salome is the scent of Salome's sweat after her dance: arousal in the air, musky post-skin warmth, vintage honeyed boudoir sensuality. Wild, sexual, witchy -- not dirty, but deeply human. Beginners: magnificent but not for the office; start with a single spray.
