Composition
Bengale Rouge (2019) is inspired by Liz Moores' beloved Bengale cat Mimi: a golden fur swathed in sandalwood and doused in honey. Turkish rose, orris, sandalwood, sweet myrrh (opoponax), oakmoss, honey, vanilla, tonka, benzoin and labdanum form a unique blend of bold animalic notes softened by gourmand warmth.
Bengale Rouge is a warm, sun-lit fur: sweet myrrh purring behind rosy skin misted with oakmoss, dappled like a leopard pelt, glowing with cozy caramel comfort. Warm, kittenish-with-claws, a little wild. Beginners: cozy and comforting -- a safe, sweet animalic.
