Composition
A reminiscence of childhood by Philippe Paparella-Paris, inspired by the palaces of Sintra near Lisbon. Petitgrain, red fruits and bergamot open into orange, cinnamon and rose, over caramel, vanilla and musk with a marshmallow softness.
To me this smells like being seven years old and completely happy. Petitgrain and red fruits and bergamot open fizzy and bright — candy, juice, sunshine. Then orange and cinnamon and rose, like the pastries at a palace café, and the base is pure childhood comfort: caramel and vanilla melting together, musk soft as a blanket, marshmallow — actual marshmallow softness — wrapping it all up. Inspired by the fairy-tale palaces of Sintra, and it smells like one: colorful, sweet, and a little bit magical. The most joyful thing Memo ever made. Beginner-friendly.
