Composition
Eau de Rochas, created in 1970 by Nicolas Mamounas, is the timeless citrus aromatic that has defined fresh French perfumery for five decades. Lime, lemon, basil, bergamot and verbena open onto jasmine, narcissus and wild rose over oakmoss, sandalwood, vetiver and amber.
Eau de Rochas is summer distilled — an effervescent burst of lime, lemon, bergamot and verbena that smells like the Mediterranean in a bottle, then a delicate floral heart of narcissus, jasmine and wild rose. The oakmoss-vetiver-amber base is classic and grounding, giving it a sophistication that cheap citrus scents never achieve. It is the connoisseur's fresh fragrance: elegant, timeless, and endlessly wearable in Indian summers when nothing else feels right. Very beginner-friendly — if you love fresh citrus scents, this is the benchmark against which they are all measured.
