Composition
A contrastive Oriental Woody scent, hot with spices and cold with the green freshness of vetiver. Grapefruit opens over an invigorating heart of elemi and black pepper from Madagascar, with the woody depth of Haitian vetiver, Moroccan atlas cedar and patchouli leaves in the base.
To me this smells like green fire. Grapefruit opens cold and electric — juice spraying, almost painfully fresh — and then the heat arrives: elemi resinous, black pepper from Madagascar crackling. Then the vetiver: Haitian vetiver, green and rooty and deep, like pulling grass up with the earth still clinging to it. Atlas cedar and patchouli leaf build the woody depth underneath, cool and dark. Hot with spice, cold with green freshness — the contrast is the whole point. It smells like standing in a storm: rain on one side, lightning on the other. Beginner-friendly.
