Composition
Launched in 2010 by Daniela Andrier as the female half of the Ephemeral Infusions duo. Infusion de Tubéreuse reinterprets tuberose in an unusual, modern way: Indian tuberose is paired with petitgrain bigarade and blood orange, with dynamone (an amber-like aromachemical) in the base. A crisp, green, low-key tuberose, quite unlike opulent tuberose classics.
To me this smells like a florist's cold room at 7am — white tuberose blooms lined up in green glass bottles, their stems still wet, and someone peeling blood oranges on the marble counter beside them. The petitgrain brings this sharp green snap, like crushed leaves, so the tuberose never gets to be the diva it usually is. It stays crisp, almost shy, humming underneath the citrus like a held note. Later it dries into something warm and ambery against the skin, like sunlight finally reaching through the shop window. This is tuberose with its corset undone — no powder, no heaviness, just the flower breathing. Beginner-friendly.
