Scent story
To me this smells like a library of forbidden books, cognac, cumin, cardamom, nutmeg, saffron, ginger and grapefruit rising off cracked leather bindings. As it settles, myrrh, cinnamon, benzoin, labdanum, mastic, patchouli and geranium spread forward — rich without shouting and completely at ease. The drydown is all animalic warmth, smoke, incense, leather, sandalwood and clary sage, soft as an old sweater. It is a slow Sunday with nowhere to be, in scent form. Beginner-friendly — a safe, happy blind pick.
