Scent story

To me this smells like the overture of a great opera — the lights dimming, the first notes rising, everything about to begin. Fig leaf, orange and magnolia open green and luminous, like the curtain going up on a garden at dawn. It is anticipation, made fragrant. Cinnamon, ylang-ylang, Indian jasmine and Bulgarian rose swell into the heart — spice and flowers building like strings and brass, rich and dramatic and glorious — and sandalwood, amber, vanilla, cashmere wood and incense settle underneath, warm and resonant as the final chord fading into applause.
