Composition
Dama Biancaby Xerjoffis a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women.Dama Biancawas launched in 2012. Top notes are Kumquat and Lime; middle notes are Violet, Italian Iris, Lilac, Egyptian Jasmine and Lily-of-the-Valley; base notes are Vanilla, Malt, White Musk, Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Sandalwood and Cedar.
To me it smells like morning light falling on white silk. Kumquat and lime sparkle at the very start — bright, fleeting — and then the powder descends: violet, italian iris, lilac, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, a whole cloud of white flowers dusted like confectioner's sugar. Vanilla and malt warm it from underneath, sweet and milky, with white musk, ambrette, sandalwood and cedar holding it all together like a held breath. It is ethereal and delicate and impossibly feminine — the scent of a bride before anyone else is awake. Easy to love, even for beginners.
