Miss Diorby Dioris a Chypre Floral fragrance for women.Miss Diorwas launched in 1947. Miss Dior was created by Jean Carles and Paul Vacher. Top notes are Aldehydes, Galbanum, Clary Sage, Gardenia and Bergamot; middle notes are Narcissus, Iris, Carnation, Orris Root, Lily-of-the-Valley, Jasmine, Rose and Neroli; base notes are Oakmoss, Leather, Vetiver, Patchouli, Labdanum, Sandalwood and Amber.
Scent story
Citruses and bergamot snap green and bright, galbanum adding a wild, leafy edge like crushed stems. Jasmine and gardenia bloom white and heady through the middle, and patchouli anchors it all in dark, earthy sweetness. This is the vintage soul of Miss Dior — a chypre with flowers in its hair and mischief in its eyes. To me it smells like a 1940s garden party just as the gin starts flowing. Hard to go wrong with this one.
