Composition
Dior Homme Intense 2011by Dioris a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men.Dior Homme Intense 2011was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is François Demachy. Top note is Lavender; middle notes are Iris, Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and Pear; base notes are Virginia Cedar and Vetiver.
Same DNA as the 2007, but the lights are on a little brighter — the bergamot and lavender lift the opening before that famous iris-cacao wave rolls in. The powder is still there, the leather still growls underneath, but everything feels a touch more polished, less feral. To me it smells like the same jazz club a few years later, renovated, the velvet replaced but the ghosts still in the walls. You still need to love iris to live here. Not for beginners — sample it on skin first.
