Launched in 2001 to mark the new millennium, Metal Jeans Men is a youthful Woody Aquatic fragrance for men. Watermelon, mandarin orange and grapefruit open fresh and modern, jasmine and water notes form the heart, and guaiac wood, musk, oakmoss and amber settle the base. It came in an innovative futuristic bottle.
Scent story
To me this smells like the year 2000 as imagined in 2001 — watermelon, mandarin and grapefruit fizzing first, juicy and electric as a new millennium, water notes and jasmine cool and synthetic-smooth in the middle. Guaiac wood, musk, oakmoss and amber ground it in something oddly classic, like chrome over wood. Youthful, futuristic, unabashedly aquatic — a time capsule from when the future felt fun. Clean and easy. The futuristic millennium bottle matched the juice — chrome-bright, unapologetically young. Beginner-friendly.
