Composition
An English pastoral in a perfume — a fragrant portrait of summer. Green notes and rose mallow open into narcissus and resins, over agarwood (oud) and red currant.
To me this smells like an English summer meadow just before a storm — green notes and rose mallow opening fresh and pastoral, narcissus blooming sweet and strange in the middle. Resins darken it like clouds gathering, and then the agarwood oud moves in: deep, dark, almost medicinal, with red currant flashing tart and red through the smoke. A pastoral that turns feral. Beautiful, but it takes you somewhere most perfumes won't. The resin is dark and golden, like amber held up to candlelight. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
