Scent story

To me this smells like a flower market at dawn that someone set up inside an old library. Bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin bursting bright as the shutters open, elemi sparkling green — then wave after wave of flowers: rose, ylang, violet, carnation, jasmine, lily of the valley, a whole monsoon of petals. Patchouli and sandalwood hold the wooden stalls upright. A whisper of tobacco and vanilla drifts through at the end, like someone smoking a pipe in the back room. Lush, generous, almost overwhelming — a bouquet the size of a room. Beginner-friendly.
