Composition
A unisex leather eau de parfum from Nabeel, launched in 2023. Saffron, mandarin, leather, citrus, neroli, rose, moss and vanilla open with opulent spice, oudh, pink peony, lychee, magnolia, orange blossom and papyrus form the rich heart, and oriental notes, musks, sandalwood and violet settle the ambery, musky base.
To me this smells like stepping into a palace majlis at night — the air already thick with oudh smoke, saffron-dyed curtains, a leather-bound Quran on the side table. The opening is opulent and almost overwhelming: mandarin brightness pinned down by neroli, rose crushed into leather. Then the flowers arrive in waves — pink peony, lychee's syrupy sweetness, magnolia and orange blossom like garlands on a wedding stage. Underneath, papyrus and violet give it a dry, bookish spine before it settles into sandalwood, musk and that deep oriental hum. It wears like a crown, not a fragrance — heavy, deliberate, impossible to ignore. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
