Composition
A unisex oriental floral eau de parfum from Nabeel, launched in 2023. Saffron, mandarin, leather, citrus, neroli, cashmeran, pamplewood and tuberose open with creamy complexity, oud, pink peony, lychee, magnolia, orange blossom, papyrus and jasmine form the vibrant heart, and oriental notes, musk and mate settle the opulent, woody base.
To me Asateer is a leather-bound diwan of Urdu poetry opened in a room full of flowers — saffron and leather first, rich and unmistakable, then oud rising like smoke from a brass mabkhara while pink peony, lychee, and magnolia bloom all around it. Tuberose and orange blossom make it almost indecently lush. Papyrus and mate in the base keep it from collapsing under its own opulence — there's a dry, papery intelligence underneath all that velvet. It smells like wealth that reads books. Enormous, complex, and completely unapologetic about taking up space. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
