To me this smells like a 1920s London soiree at midnight — juniper berries fizzing like tonic over ice, orange bright as a cocktail garnish, angelica and cinnamon giving it that gin-botanical hum. Pepper and cardamom spice the middle, leather and orris adding a mischievous powdery depth, and vetiver, sugar, cherry and amber dry it down sweet and warm, like the end of the party. Fizzy, mischievous, elegant — a gin and tonic in perfume form. Impossible not to smile wearing it. Beginner-friendly.
