Composition
A 2020 leather EDP by Alienor Massenet, an India-inspired 'modern oud' — saffron and gardenia over cardamom and turmeric, on leather, agarwood and amber. Exclusive to Memo's website; now discontinued.
Jamal's Palace opens with saffron and gardenia — white flowers with a golden, spicy glow — then turmeric and cardamom add a warm, earthy hum. The base is where the palace reveals itself: leather, agarwood (oud) and amber, smooth and enveloping, like silk hangings in a lamplit durbar. It's Memo's most India-coded scent, serene rather than fiery, sophisticated rather than loud. Discontinued and increasingly hard to find. For collectors and oud-floral lovers; not a beginner blind buy at resale prices.
