Composition
A nod to the Irish origins of Memo co-founder John Molloy: juniper berries and green mate absolute with pepper and mandarin open into iris, clary sage and mate, settling into a leather accord with cedarwood and vetiver.
To me this smells like a rainy morning on the Irish coast — juniper berries crushed under your boots, black pepper snapping in the cold air, mandarin flashing like a brief break in the clouds. It's green and windswept, the smell of weather. Mate tea and clary sage add a bitter herbal depth, iris a cool powdery distance — and then the leather arrives, worn and rain-darkened, over cedarwood and vetiver. This is leather the hard way: not the polished jacket, but the saddle left out in the rain. Fresh, green, leathery, melancholic. Beautiful, but it asks you to meet it halfway. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
