Composition
A 2023 Fleurs Bohèmes woody EDP by Yann Vasnier, inspired by the Scottish Highlands — peat, heather and mist. Iris butter and mate over sandalwood and amyris, on cedar and guaiac wood. The flacon plate echoes Scottish tartan.
Inverness is Memo's quiet masterpiece. French orris butter and mate open it — powdery, buttery, faintly smoky — then Australian sandalwood and amyris bring a creamy, meditative woodiness. The base of cedar and guaiac wood is dry and grounding, like mist over a Highland glen. It wears close and calm, more contemplative than attention-seeking. Beautiful in Indian winters; in summer the woods still work in air-conditioning. A connoisseur's scent — beginners may find it too subtle for the price.
