Composition
A 2018 fragrance named for the Path of the Gods on the Amalfi Coast. Lemon, green leaves and fruits open into orange blossom, jasmine, iris and rose, over woods, tonka, amber and musk. Sunlit, floral and Mediterranean.
To me this smells like walking the Path of the Gods at nine in the morning, the lemon groves of the Amalfi Coast terraced below you and the sea blinding-white beyond the cliffs. The opening is pure sun through green leaves — sharp lemon peel, crushed grass, a bite of orchard fruit still cool from the night. Then the path narrows into a walled garden and it turns floral: orange blossom and jasmine blooming against stone, iris and rose like petals left on warm marble steps. The base is the walk home — tonka and amber like dust on your skin, musk like a white cotton shirt dried in the coastal wind. It is the Mediterranean distilled into a single stride, bright and effortless. Beginner-friendly.
