The third Cuirs Nomades chapter (2014) evokes Parisian spirit: sparkling lime, pink pepper, juniper berry and bergamot over a rose heart with clary sage and hay, settling into soft suede and cedarwood like the inside of a handbag.
Scent story
To me this is Paris in a handbag. Lime, pink pepper, juniper and bergamot sparkle at the start, bright, chic, effervescent, the juniper giving the opening a gin-clear snap like ice in a glass at a Left Bank bar. Then rose blooms over clary sage and hay, dry and elegant. The base is soft suede and cedarwood, leather, but the gentle kind, like the inside of a luxury handbag, not a biker jacket. It is the most approachable leather in this batch: citrus, roses, and a whisper of suede. Sophisticated without being severe. Beginner-friendly.
