Composition
A 2021 Fleurs Bohèmes EDP by Philippe Paparella-Paris, inspired by the Norwegian village of Flåm — fjords, red cottages and the northern lights. Bergamot, bitter orange and clary sage over sambac jasmine, on vanilla, cedar, tonka and musk.
Flam smells like winter light. Bergamot, bitter orange and clary sage open bright and bracing, like cold air off a fjord; the heart is sambac jasmine, luminous and green-white. Then warmth creeps in — Madagascar vanilla, tonka bean, cedarwood, ambrettolide and soft musk — like stepping into a cozy wooden cabin. It's a study in contrasts: cold outside, warm inside. Lovely in Indian winters and monsoon evenings; too cozy for peak summer. Beginner-friendly and comforting.
