Composition
Launched in 1988, Eternity is a floral eau de parfum for women. Green Notes, Freesia and Sage form the opening, followed by Carnation and Lily in the heart. The dry-down rests on Musk and Heliotrope.
To me this is a 1980s wedding bouquet preserved in a time capsule — green notes and freesia and sage, citrus bright, mandarin sweet. Then the avalanche of flowers: carnation, lily, lily-of-the-valley, narcissus, marigold, violet, rose, jasmine — a florist's entire shop in one breath. The base is powder and warmth: musk, heliotrope, sandalwood, amber, patchouli. It is the scent of forever as imagined in 1988 — big, romantic, unapologetic. A classic that smells like a promise kept. Sage cuts through the florals with a cool herbal clarity. Beginner-friendly.
