Composition
A fresher, lighter take on Eros Pour Femme, launched in summer 2016 by Alberto Morillas. Sicilian lemon, mandarin, raspberry, white currant and calone open with an icy citrus-fruity sparkle, leading to a white-floral heart of orange blossom, jasmine, magnolia and freesia. The drydown of musk, ambroxan, woody notes and patchouli keeps it sensual and elegant.
To me this smells like the Amalfi Coast in July — Sicilian lemon and mandarin fizzing first, raspberry and white currant juicy as a granita, calone salty-sweet as sea spray. Orange blossom, jasmine, magnolia and freesia bloom white and bright in the heat, musk, ambroxan, woods and patchouli drying it down clean and sun-warmed. The lighter, fresher Eros — an icy citrus-fruity sparkle over white flowers. Pure Mediterranean holiday energy. Morillas made the summer flanker lighter and icier — the Eros DNA carried on a sea breeze. Beginner-friendly.
