Composition
A Jo Malone creation for Zara's Emotions collection: a woody fragrance with a dark, moody elegance. Grapefruit, cypress and pink pepper open onto a rich coffee heart, resting on earthy patchouli and vetiver. Warm, sophisticated and one of Zara's most acclaimed unisex scents.
To me this smells like the ghats at dawn before the crowds, grapefruit, cypress and pink pepper clean over wet stone. Slowly coffee unfolds into view, like a hand on your shoulder as late-afternoon light. It dries down to patchouli and vetiver, warm and close to the skin — the quietest, truest part. It is pure a deep breath after good news — nothing more, nothing less. Beginner-friendly — crowd-pleasing without trying too hard.
