Composition
Launched in 1992, composed by Jean-Claude Ellena — the first tea-based fragrance. Bergamot, cardamom, lemon, coriander, orange blossom and mandarin orange open over jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and Bulgarian rose, with green tea, musk, cedar, precious woods, sandalwood and amber in the base. A fresh citrus-aromatic built around green tea.
To me this smells like the first perfect cup of green tea on a monsoon morning — bergamot and lemon bright as the steam, cardamom and coriander spicing the air, orange blossom and mandarin sweetening the cup. Jasmine, lily of the valley and Bulgarian rose float like petals in the brew. Musk, cedar and sandalwood keep it calm and clean, amber a warm hand around the cup. It is serenity in a bottle — green, fresh, and endlessly calming. Beginner-friendly.
