Scent story
Black is the perfume equivalent of a leather jacket over a silk dress. It opens with an odd, brilliant flash of green tea and bergamot, then rose and jasmine soften it, almost innocent. And then the leather arrives, dark and animalic, melting into vanilla and amber like smoke in a jazz club. To me it smells like 1998 and not caring what anyone thinks. A cult classic for a reason. Not for beginners — the leather-tea collision is gloriously weird.
