Composition
Dior Homme Eau for Menby Dioris a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men.Dior Homme Eau for Menwas launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is François Demachy. Top notes are Coriander, Grapefruit and Calabrian bergamot; middle note is Tuscan Iris; base notes are Virginian Cedar and Amber.
Coriander and grapefruit open it with a green, almost herbal brightness, like crushing fresh leaves between your palms. Then the Tuscan iris takes over — powdery, gentle, like the inside of a well-kept wardrobe where someone stores silk. Cedar and amber hold it all steady and warm. To me this is the quietest of the Homme line, a scent for slow evenings and low voices, softness worn like confidence. A low-risk pick you can wear anywhere.
