Composition
Davidoff's 2008 Eau de Toilette for men, created by perfumer Antoine Lie around a fresh-spicy-woody concept inspired by untamed nature. Citrus and tea leaves open over a spiced sesame heart, drying down to cedar, vetiver and white musk.
It bursts open with mandarin, bergamot and lemon over green tea and a crack of black pepper — bright, outdoorsy, unmistakably masculine. The heart is where it gets interesting: black sesame and pimento add a warm, almost nutty spice you rarely smell elsewhere. It settles into clean cedar, vetiver and soft white musk that sits close to the skin. A solid daytime pick for Indian autumns and mild winters; in peak summer heat the citrus can turn thin. Very beginner-friendly and office-safe, though performance is modest.
