Crescendo Of Oud is an oriental-woody eau de parfum for women and men, launched in 2023. It opens with saffron, raspberry and marigold, develops rose and patchouli in the heart, and settles into a leather accord, an oud accord and amber.
To me this smells like Diwali evening at an attar shop in Old Delhi. Saffron hits first — that leathery, hay-like spice — tangled with raspberry and the dusty-sweet smell of marigold garlands strung across the doorway. Then the rose comes, dark and jammy, deepened by patchouli until it smells almost like the earth the flowers grew in. And the base is where the name earns itself: oud and leather rising together like a crescendo, amber glowing underneath like diyas reflected in brass. It builds the way the festival builds — flowers and sweetness first, then smoke and depth and something almost overwhelming by the end of the night. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
