Composition
Ajmal Dahn Al Oudh is a traditional alcohol-free attar from Dubai, crafted by Ajmal Perfumes. Pure oil — a drop or two is enough, and it blooms with body heat.
To me this smells like a majlis in Dubai at midnight — low cushions, tiny cups of bitter qahwa, and the mabkhara going around for the third time. The oud here is not the polite, diluted kind; it is thick and smoky and alive, the way real agarwood smells when it is heated, not sprayed. As it warms on skin it turns almost creamy underneath the smoke, amber and musk rising like heat off sand. A drop behind each ear is a whole evening's worth of presence.
