Composition
A classic Arabic mukhallat built around Indian agarwood and ambergris: rose and sandalwood frame a powerful woody-spicy heart, while musk and ambergris give a radiant, long-lasting trail.
To me this smells like a library of forbidden books, oud, ambergris and rose rising off cracked leather bindings. As it settles, sandalwood, petals and spice deepen forward — quietly confident and completely at ease. It settles finally into musk, ambergris and woods — soft as an old sweater. This is what the calm after the celebration would smell like if it had a perfume. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
