Launched in March 2019 as the after-dark chapter of the Prada Candy line. Candy Night is an Oriental Vanilla gourmand built on a contrast of fresh energy and addictive sweetness: iris, bitter orange and neroli open bright, vanilla and tonka bean form the heart, and chocolate and patchouli settle the base. It is available as a 30, 50 and 80 ml EDP.
Scent story
To me this is dessert after midnight — iris and bitter orange bright as the restaurant lights, then vanilla and tonka bean, thick as custard, melting into chocolate and patchouli, dark and sweet. It smells like the last course at a very good dinner, eaten slowly. The neroli is bright orange blossom against all that sweetness, keeping it from cloying, and the patchouli is dark chocolate earth — the night is young and so is the dessert. Prada's after-dark gourmand: powdery, sweet, and dangerously edible. Beginner-friendly.
