Composition
Alkout (2020) is a limited-edition animalic extrait composed by John Stephens for Kuwait National Day. It has no top or heart notes — only a deep base of violet, oud, civet, leather, musk, ambergris and labdanum.
Alkout is darkness with a violet lining: an unapologetically animalic blend of oud, civet and leather, softened just enough by violet to stay wearable. Rare, intense, collector-grade. Beginners should steer clear — this is for seasoned oud and animalic lovers.
