Composition
Versus Time for Energy (2001), the invigorating entry in the Versus Time collection for women and men, in a transparent dark blue bottle. Green tea and mandarin orange open sweet and fresh, leading to a heart of lemon tree, yuzu and mint. The base of oakmoss, cedar and amber is green, woody and full of positive energy.
To me this smells like a cold shower you actually wanted — green tea and mandarin orange opening sweet and fresh, and then lemon tree, yuzu and mint fizzing in the heart like citrus soda poured over ice. Oakmoss, cedar and amber in the base keep it grounded and a little earthy, so it never feels thin. Invigorating is exactly the word — the olfactory equivalent of splashing your face with cold water and feeling instantly, completely awake. The yuzu is the electric jolt in the middle — sharper than lemon, stranger, impossible to ignore. Beginner-friendly.
