Composition
Lovestruck by Vera Wang (2011) is a sparkling floral Eau de Parfum by Stephen Nilsen, inspired by a modern-day Romeo and Juliet. Guava, mandarin and angelica open into lotus, angelica and tuberose over musk and woodsy notes. The campaign featured Leighton Meester of Gossip Girl, and the bottle is decorated with a tulle bow and berry flowers.
Lovestruck is falling-in-love in a bottle — sparkling guava and mandarin, a tender heart of tuberose and lotus, then a soft musk-and-woods embrace. It's young in spirit but classic in structure, and the tuberose keeps it from being just another fruity floral. For beginners: a great first floral EDP — romantic, easy to wear, and noticeably longer-lasting than the Princess EDTs.
