Composition
A sweet, rich, velvety scent by Pierre Montale where white flowers and vanilla fill the air. Pear, angelica, black currant, pink pepper, clove and mandarin open into tuberose, jasmine, neroli and rose, over vanilla and white musk.
To me this is a fruit orchard next to a patisserie. Pear, black currant, pink pepper and mandarin open juicy and sparkling, the angelica adding a green, almost gin-like lift while pink pepper and clove tickle at the edges, then tuberose, jasmine, neroli and rose bloom creamy-white over it all. Vanilla and white musk in the base wrap everything in softness. It is sweet, fruity, floral, velvet exactly as promised. Mancera usually goes big and loud; this one goes big and soft. Impossible not to like. Beginner-friendly.
