Composition
Pop, launched in 2016 and composed by Salahdine Achnine and Jacques Cavallier, is Stella McCartney's third pillar fragrance — a mindset-capturing floral-woody musk aimed at free-spirited millennials. Tomato leaf, violet leaf and green mandarin open onto tuberose, frangipani and violet over musk, sandalwood and cedar.
Pop is a spirit — expressive tomato leaf bursts open with green mandarin's pithy zest, then powdery tuberose blends with creamy frangipani, like a sunlit garden with a wild, quirky edge. The sandalwood-musk-cedar base is smooth and clean, grounding the exuberance. It reinterprets tuberose with brighter, crisper, more solar floralcy — youthful but sophisticated, fun but never childish. In India it is a bright everyday scent for spring and summer. Very beginner-friendly — a modern, green-tinged tuberose that is easy to wear and hard to dislike.
