Composition
Laguna, launched in 1991 and created by Mark Buxton, is Salvador Dali's sun-drenched love letter to the sea — an exotic floral-fruity in the iconic frosted Aphrodite-lips bottle. Pineapple, lemon, grapefruit and peach open onto iris, rosewood, jasmine and Egyptian rose over coconut, vanilla, Madagascar sandalwood, tonka and amber.
Laguna is the warm floral fragrance of the sea shore — a vibrant cocktail of citrus and tropical fruits, evolved into a velvety floral heart of jasmine, rosewood, iris and lily of the valley, finishing in a warm, enveloping base of vanilla, coconut and sandalwood with a light salty, creamy accord like sea breeze. The bottle itself — Aphrodite's lips and nose in frosted glass — is pure Dali surrealism. It is joyful, exotic and sun-kissed: made for summer days, beach holidays and tropical Indian afternoons. Very beginner-friendly — a lush fruity-floral that feels like a holiday in a bottle.
