Royal Elixir is a unisex extrait de parfum from Ormonde Jayne's Elixir collection, launched in 2019. It takes Ambre Royal's composition to extract strength, opening with green notes, bergamot and orange. The heart blends jasmine, amber, osmanthus, orris, rose oil and orchid, over a base of ambroxan, patchouli, cedar, tonka bean and musk.
Scent story
To me this smells like a durbar hall at dusk, everything gilded. Green notes and bergamot open bright as polished brass, then jasmine, osmanthus, orris and rose oil bloom into this opulent floral heart, with amber glowing underneath like lamplight. Ambroxan, patchouli, cedar and tonka give it the weight of an extrait — it sits on skin like velvet. Rich, regal, and surprisingly easy to love. Royalty you can actually wear. Osmanthus threads an apricot-tea sweetness through the opulent florals. Beginner-friendly.
